This retreat has been carefully crafted with the best intentions in mind. The retreat will be hosted by locals, who are in the land for over 30 years. We will be giving back to the community financially as well. A percentage of the proceeds will go towards a community support fund and we will also be engaging in a community support activity while on the ground.

Thais Aquino is an intuitive artist, soul photographer, and visual poet destined to make art from a poetic presence and spiritual aesthetics.
Thais was born in the state below the Amazon, her ancestry is complex and rich, she comes from indigenous tribes from Brazil + Africa lineages (DNA tests stated Yoruba People) + Italian? Portuguese? German? We don’t know.
Thais moved to New York when she was 25y to pursue a career in photography, 5 years later, after working for global brands and having a ‘successful’ career, her Soul spoke louder. In a spontaneous act of immense trust and intuitive connection with greater forces and destiny, she drifted to the waters of Maui, where she is currently opening new pathways for her soul’s expansion and artistic blooming.
As a dynamic photographer, image & meaning maker, Thais serves a community of powerful artists, healers, coaches, thinkers, and spiritual entrepreneurs on Maui, New York, and California.
I met Luna through Spirit Weavers gathering as she was telling us the story of creation through Yoruba cosmology. I remember the feeling in my body, as if my Soul had encountered an important and big chapter of remembrance. My breath became softer as a smile on my face guided me into deep listening and presence. As someone who never had contact with ancestral wisdom (I come from a racist family), I trusted in Luna’s work to guide me into the wisdom of my own body and show me the way to ancestral connection, which is, moon wisdom. Ever since that day I tried to sign up for Aluna Method workshops and expand my connection and collaborations with this incredible loving force, Juliana Luna.
Limited to 8 women, in the retreat we will explore our connection with the moon fully, learning how to remember, heal and activate our lunar power source in order to live fully comfortable in our bodies according to our natural internal timing.
We will bridge our ancestral wisdom with our present awareness through yoga, meditation, moon gazing and communing in nature. Learning what it means to live from our most connected sensual, cyclical core and how to integrate sacred feminine wisdom into our daily lives.
